This morning Runa told me about a lock down they had last year. The reason? A raccoon on the school grounds. While I understand you don't want kids licking a raccoon it seemed a little much to lock everyone down to keep them safe from one little raccoon. I like to imagine that the racoon was accompanied by Nanabush ready to stir up some trouble and tempt some kids into eye juggling. Apparently a snapping turtle caused a similar lock down. Don't let nature get you!
